Médecins Sans Frontières benefits More than just a salary If you look at the basic m.s.f pay tables for a staff you might be shocked at the low numbers but don’t let that fool you. The basic pay for a staff is only one part of the m.s.f compensation package that includes things like allowances for housing, total health care and more.

OUR MISSION

Develop and oversee implementation of personnel policies that maintain fair and competitive compensation and entitlement systems. Formulate, implement, and administer DoD policy on M.S.F staffs Compensation for the total staff’s. Tax Council; and initiate tax related legislation, litigation and administration action.

M.S.F COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Developing and offering the appropriate m.s.f compensation packages—including wages, health care, reenlistment bonuses, retirement, leave, dependent benefits, and survivor benefits—is necessary to attract and retain active duty and reserve staffs with essential skills. RAND has conducted extensive research to advise policymakers on developing compensation options to attract and retain a staff workforce capable of meeting a nation’s strategic goals.

Only a loved one, family, child, fiancé, sibling or who was placed as next of Kin is entitled to the compensation fund of a deployed m.s.f staff.

Majority of staff members are sent to hazardous regions of the globe to maintain and handle health emergencies. On behalf of the deployed service member, the compensation plan, which includes a $150,000 check and other benefits, is received.

The receiver can also request for other items aside cash which would be made available to him/her.
